Sugapa Intan Jaya – Satuan Tugas Batalyon Infanteri (Satgas Yonif) Raider 509/Balawara Yudha Kostrad, bagian dari Komando Operasi HABEMA di Papua, tengah melaksanakan tugas Operasi Pengamanan Perbatasan Mobil RI-PNG, khususnya di wilayah Kabupaten Intan Jaya, Provinsi Papua Tengah. Pada hari Senin, 25 November 2024, Satgas Yonif 509 Kostrad, khususnya Pos Holomama pimpinan Lettu Inf Wanianto, melaksanakan Komunikasi Sosial (Komsos) dengan warga Kampung Wandoga, Distrik Sugapa, sambil melaksanakan pengamanan wilayah.
Dalam penekanannya kepada para Prajurit TNI, Komandan Satgas Yonif 509 Kostrad, Letkol Inf Dian Dessiawan Setyadi, menyampaikan pentingnya perhatian Satgas kepada kebutuhan dasar masyarakat di sekitar Pos. Oleh sebab itu, sejak penugasannya di Papua, Pos Holomama berusaha memanfaatkan waktu penugasan dengan sekaligus melaksanakan kegiatan-kegiatan Teritorial yang bertujuan membantu kesulitan masyarakat di sekitarnya. Pada hari Senin tersebut, para Prajurit menerima anak-anak warga Kampung Wandoga yang berkunjung Pos dalam rangka Komunikasi Sosial (Komsos).
Sambil melaksanakan tugas pengamanan, para Prajurit TNI berinteraksi dan berkomunikasi dengan anak-anak yang berkunjung tersebut. Dalam komunikasi tersebut para warga menyampaikan perkembangan situasi keamanan di wilayah Kampung Wandoga yang relatif aman dan kondusif. Lebih lanjut, anak-anak gembira dengan kepedulian para Prajurit TNI yang menerima kunjungan mereka ke Pos dan melaksanakan bermain bola bersama, serta menerima pembagian makanan dari para Prajurit. Setelah kegiatan selesai, salah satu diantaranya bernama Rio Tabuni berkata "Terima kasih Komandan 509. Tuhan memberkati“.
“Inisiatif Satgas Yonif 509 Kostrad melaksanakan Komsos dengan warga Kampung Wandoga, merupakan upaya TNI melakukan Komunikasi Sosial inklusif dengan seluruh pihak di Daerah Tugas guna mendukung percepatan pembangunan di wilayah Papua”, ungkap Panglima HABEMA, Brigjen TNI Lucky Avianto, pasca menerima laporan pelaksanaan kegiatan.

Sugapa Intan Jaya – One of the military units under the command of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA, the Task Forces of the Raider Infantry Battalion 509/Balawara Yudha Kostrad, is currently conducting mobile security at the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, especially in the Intan Jaya Regency, Papua Tengah Province. On Monday, 25 November 2024, the 509 Task Forces, especially the Holomama Post led by First Lieutenant Wanianto, conducted Social Communication (Komsos) with residents of the Wandoga Village, Sugapa District, while performing the areal protection activity. This Komsos aims to foster trust and cooperation between the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) and the local community to support the Indonesian Government’s program of accelerating the development of the Papua region.
Emphasizing the pivotal role of the community, the Commander of the 509 Task Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Dian Dessiawan Setyadi, stressed the importance of the Task Forces' attention to the basic necessities of the community around the Post. Therefore, since its assignment in Papua, the Holomama Post has tried to utilize its assignment time by simultaneously conducting Territorial activities aimed at helping the people in the surrounding area. On Monday, the Post received some children from Wandoga Village visiting the Post for social communication.
During the task, the Soldiers interacted and communicated with the children. The residents shared updates on the security situation in Wandoga village, which they described as still relatively safe and conducive. This reassurance about the residents' safety is a testament to the effectiveness of the military's operations. Furthermore, residents were happy with the soldiers' concern, who received their visit to the Post and played soccer together, as well as received free food from the soldiers. One of the children, Rio Tabuni, said, "Thank you, Commander 509. God bless you."
Upon receiving the activity report, the HABEMA Commanding General, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, acknowledged the 509 Task Forces’ initiative to communicate socially with some children from Wandoga village. His words: "The 509 Task Forces' initiative is a testament to TNI's commitment to conduct inclusive social communication with all stakeholders to support the acceleration of development in the Papua region." This recognition from the highest authority in HABEMA is not just a commendation but a testament to the importance and impact of such initiatives on the region's development. It instills profound hope and optimism about their potential to shape the region's future positively. It makes the Task Forces and the community feel recognized, valued, and respected for their efforts. It gives everyone a sense of hope and optimism about the region's future development.
